Emergency & First Aid Procedure: Treat as a Sulfur Base reaction with fresh water.

Eyes: Flush immediately with water for at least 15 minutes. Forcibly hold eyelids apart to ensure complete irrigation of eyelid tissue. Get immediate medical attention.

Skin: Flush immediately with water for at least 15 minutes, while removing contaminated clothing. Get immediate medical attention. Wash clothing before reuse. Destroy contaminated shoes.

Ingestion: Drink copious amounts of water or milk. Do not induce vomiting. Get immediate medical attention.

Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. If not breathing, perform artificial respiration. Get medical attention immediately.

Effects of Overexposure: Contact with liquid, mist or vapor can cause immediate irritation or corrosive burns to all human tissue. Severity of the burn is generally determined by the concentration of the solution and duration of exposure. Contact with eyes may result in permanent visual loss, unless removed quickly by thorough irrigation with water. Inhalation of concentrated vapor or mist will damage upper respiratory tract and lung tissue. Swallowing may be fatal. Repeated exposure may cause chronic bronchitis or respiratory inflammation. Repeated skin contact with dilute solutions may cause dermatitis.

STEPS TO BE TAKEN IN CASE OF MATERIAL RELEASE OR SPILLAGE: Flush with water into retaining area or container and neutralize with Bicarbonate of Soda. Shovel or vacuum up chemical and place in an empty metal drum with a cover. Cautiously spray residue with plenty of water. Recover resulting solution or slurry for proper disposal. Keep out of sewer. Any release of the product to the environment may be subject to federal or state requirements. Check with appropriate agencies.

WASTE DISPOSAL METHOD: Neutralize with Bicarbonate of Soda or Lime Stone, and dispose of as a fertilizer grade material. Comply with federal, state and local regulations. If approved, remove to chemical waste.

Procedures to be taken in handling and storage: Avoid storage in excessive heat as expansion of container may occur creating spillage.

Handling: Avoid prolonged or repeated inhalation of dust/vapor and contact with the skin and eyes.

Storage: Protect from physical damage. Keep in a closed, labeled container within a cool, dry well ventilated are. Maintain good housekeeping.
